Micah has been interested in architecture since long before he knew what it was called. Growing up, he was fascinated by houses, especially his friends’ homes, and could often be found sketching floor plans or exploring in Minecraft, which can now be translated to building dream houses in SketchUp “just for fun.” That early curiosity turned into a passion, and now he’s pursuing his degree in Architecture at Oklahoma State University with plans to become a licensed architect after graduation.

Micah brings that same playful creativity and curiosity to his internship at Bockus Payne. He loves digging into design challenges and seeing how the pieces come together to shape real spaces. Whether it’s sketching concepts or modeling ideas, he’s always looking for ways to make architecture both exciting and thoughtful.

Outside of design, Micah is a huge music fan and has an appreciation for just about every genre. Whether he’s working or winding down, you can bet there’s a playlist running in the background.
