Interior Design Intern

Born in Seattle and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma, Kaitlyn Cothran brings a people-centered approach to interior design—grounded in empathy, creativity, and meaningful connection. Currently pursuing her degree at the University of Oklahoma, she joined Bockus Payne as a design intern in 2024. Kaitlyn is passionate about creating environments that not only serve a purpose but also evoke emotion, reflect personal stories, and foster a sense of belonging.

A natural communicator, Kaitlyn thrives in collaborative settings and values the relationships built through shared vision and conversation. She is actively involved on OU’s campus and contributes to local philanthropic efforts, with a strong commitment to wellness, equity, and community impact.

In her free time, Kaitlyn prioritizes movement and mindfulness. She enjoys hot yoga, Pilates, hiking, long walks—and is a strong advocate for personal health and wellness. She has a soft spot for animals and loves to spend an afternoon with her two dogs, Bindi and Blitz.
