Design Brief
Building Three is a restoration of a 1950s-era structure that had been significantly altered in the 1980s. Recent renovations peeled back those layers to reveal the original character, including the building’s folded plate “zig-zag” roofline—an iconic mid-century element uncovered during demolition. The owner opted to return to the building’s 1950s aesthetic, scraping off later additions.
Modern updates include large front windows, accent red lighting to highlight the roofline at night, and interior renovations that support both service and hospitality tenants. A reworked parking lot, complete with new concrete and a drive-through lane, improves access—especially for Summer Moon Coffee.
