Bockus Payne partnered with Francis Tuttle Technology Center to design a new facility housing Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technician training programs, along with Project HOPE, Francis Tuttle’s alternative education program.
Design Brief
Project HOPE serves students who have dropped out or are at risk of dropping out, providing an alternative path to high school graduation through academic instruction, career training, and life-skills development. The program combines individualized academic support with hands-on career training, helping students build skills and prepare for continued education or employment.
The new facility is designed to support both the academic and technical sides of the program, with flexible learning spaces and dedicated training environments that reflect real-world career settings. Bringing these programs together creates a setting where students can complete their education while gaining practical experience and developing a clear path forward.
Through the project, Bockus Payne worked with Francis Tuttle to create a welcoming, functional environment that supports the goals of Project HOPE and expands opportunities for students across the district.
